		To access the icons on your desktop without having to close all of the open windows, select the Start menu, Run, then type a period (.) with no parenthesis, and press Enter. Well, well. If you type .. in the Run Dialog box, it opens the Windows directory. If you type ..\system32, the \windows\system32 directory opens. If you type \ in the Run dialog, the c:\ (root) directory opens. Methinks you have found good ol' DOS running under the hood again.
